In the heart of Lytchett Minster and Upton, something magical is happening, and the Beacon Association couldn’t be more excited to share the news. The community made a special wish for some fairy visitors, and guess what? The fairies answered! Now, inside their enchanted fairy circle, the flower fairies are gearing up to sprinkle a little extra magic across the town for a truly unforgettable 'Upton in Bloom' summer.

Meet the team: Daisy, Sugar Plum, and Dusty—three whimsical fairies dedicated to helping our flowers grow and blossom into a stunning summer display. They’ve brought their trusty fairy dust, with Dusty himself sporting a special pouch on his belt to keep it safe (can you spot it?). These magical helpers have also invited their buzzing and fluttering friends—bees and butterflies—to ensure the flowers are pollinated and bursting with life.

As we head into the warmer months, the magic isn’t just for show! Over the next few weeks, judges from the 'Royal Horticultural Society' and 'Britain in Bloom' will be making their rounds, and we’ve got our fingers crossed (with a sprinkle of fairy dust) for a winning performance.
